The Very Begining!

My husband and I finally decided on building another house. After looking at many other houses for sale we realized that building a house was just better for us. This will be our third house that we have built together. After looking at several builders, communities and floor plans we landed on Ryan Homes's Milan. Based on the floor plan we thought this was the perfect model for our family of four. We didn't have a decorated model in our area. Luckily someone that just built one in our community let us view theirs. We then had second thoughts about whether it was the right floor plan for us. The entryway felt tight and we didn't like that you had to use the great room as a walkway from the entry hallway to the kitchen. Another thing was the mud room wasn't really a room more like a hallway. So we went back to the floor plans and found the Naples! The good thing for us is that we were able to go see a decorated model this time. We fell in love with it even more after seeing it. I've posted the floor plans of both of them so you can see the difference.

What we loved about the Naples after seeing it: Mudroom not huge but nice. Thinking of doing built ins here with a bench and a place for shoes underneath along with hooks for coats. Having the four bedrooms plus the loft. The large great room is nice too.
