Final Stage

This week carpet went in! You know what that means...almost moving day!
It was so nice to see the carpet down, it really warms up the place. I was ready to move in last night. It truly feels like home already. We can't wait. We are a little over a week away.

Got some more pictures for you!

Exterior:
Updates: Lighting, unpainted Door and Concrete Driveway / Walkway.
Interior/Downstairs:

Front Door sheds in tons of natural light. We love it!

Glass office doors. True divided 15 light!
Dinning Rm: Oil Rubbed Broze Lighting Package!
Half Bath: They have put up all the towel bars and toilet paper holders. They look so good!
Closer view of bath accessories
Kitchen: Oh yah! The counter tops and appliances are in too. They look even better than we thought!
Granite Counter Tops

Kitchen Island: Not sure I like the cut of the counter tops. I feel like it takes away elbow space. We'll see. I couldn't really do anything about that anyways, you get what you get. Going to do two saddle seat tools here.
Deep sinks! Our current RH doesn't have deep sinks (about 6"). Our current neighbor's are actually replacing theirs with a deep one. Glad we got these. However did you notice the lame facet? So disappointing that this is the standard. We had an option to upgrade but decided we would do this later, possibly a oil rubbed bronze one. :)
Microwave and Stove. They are so cool. The stove is a 5 burner.
Dishwasher: not too impressed with the inside quality, but the outside is pretty.
Pantry Shelving is in! I have more space then I know what to do with.
Not sure I mentioned it before but all the bottom cabinets have pull out drawers. So excited about that feature.

Morning Room - Nothing to update here. Just a beautiful room.
Living Room - Carpet is in!

Upstairs:

Upstairs Hallway - Carpet

Loft - Carpet

Another View
Master Bed Room - Carpet and no bath tub :)

Another view into the bath

In the bath looking out. It's a huge room!
Master Bath - Tub is in with faucet and towel bar. Only thing left in here is the glass shower surround.
Laundry Room - Utility Rack: Can't believe they did the whole wall. It will be good storage.
Guest Bedroom
Basement:

Carpet, a lot of carpet!

Not sure I have shown the unfinished storage area. It's also a good size. We are talking about building shelving on one wall to organize all storage boxes.

Nice big hot water tank

Basement full bath - Everything is done in here.
Next Steps: Put in refrigerator. Put in the glass surround in master bath shower. Paint the front door and other touch ups. Replace the broken windows. Swap out basement door for glass door that we picked out. Grade the lawn. And clean! Next post will be the move. We can't wait. :)

Getting So Close - Paint & Cabinets

We are getting so close. Two weeks ago when we went to check on the house, the outside exterior was almost finished. The drywall was all finished & painted. The tile was started in the master and floors were in, except carpet. To protect the hardwood they had them covered. What we could see they look great!

This week so many things were done. Exterior was finished except the lights. Still can't wait to see our door. The next thing we saw were the hand rails and spindles were up and stain & painted. Makes the upstairs loft area look beautiful. All doors were in too. Looks like they will be putting hardware on next.

The big surprise was the kitchen cabinets were in! They look so great! We soon realized that we are going to have to buy cabinet pulls immediately. They are extremely hard to open. Can't wait to see the granite counter tops next. Cabinets in bath rooms were done with sinks, counter tops and faucets. They all look awesome.

Mantel is done, nice dental work! I love that it has a hearth too. My laundry tub is in and the tile work in the master is done. The electrician was in working on the lighting. Can't wait to see all the fixtures.

Enjoy the pics below.

We got a mailbox too!

The columns are in.

See the three siding options - stone, shake and siding.
Railing with stain and paint. Doesn't look finished yet, but awesome!
My office doors - can't wait to see the glass panels.
Kitchen - This is so exciting. We did the crown molding and I'm so glad we did. The new things Ryan is doing is the raised cabinet above the microwave and the two cabinets over the refrigerator. Can't wait to see the appliances and countertops next!

Fireplace – Once the slate is cleaned it will look even better!
Hand-scraped wood floors - this pic doesn't really shown how cool they really are.
Mud Room - Oh yeah the alarm system is in too.
Loft

I love this upstairs!!! So open, it's like another living space - not just an upstairs hallway.

Look at the beautiful railing :)

One more angle, hee-hee

Bronze fixtures and glass & ceramic tile

Close up of tile! Going to do a green wall color to match these.
Double sinks!!!!! Can you tell I'm really excited about this? Look at all that storage too. Yeah!!! I love this bathroom.

Master Bedroom - If you were wondering, no this is not the placement of the tub. It's just here until the bath surround is done.

Another angle.
