Exterior and Drywall!

We were so happy to see the exterior almost complete this week. We have the stone, shake (lighter sections in peek and around the 2 windows above the garage) and siding. Love the colors! Can't wait for the door. It will have a big piece of glass, letting a ton of light in the main hall. This door is just the construction door for now. Oh they also changed the porch roof to the metal, instead of the shingles.

Downstairs: I'll walk you through from the front of the house to the back.

My Office in the front of the house!
I have two window to look out to the woods across the street.

Dining Room (on the side of the house) with pass through to pantry and kitchen.
A ton of natural light coming into the two windows.

Kitchen with bar going into the morning room.
You can see the can lighting and wire for the island to come. Hopefully next week we'll see some cabinetry.

Morning Room - sits in the back of the house
It has a even taller ceiling than the 9 ft ceilings throughout the house. A ton of light because we put in the side windows. It also is a great place for drinking coffee in a extra comfy chair on weekend mornings. Which we plan to do!

Living Room
We plan to put the TV in between the windows.

Now you can see the fireplace!
With the drywall up everything looks bigger, especially this room.
This room is pretty long so we are planning to upgrade to a sectional to fill the space. Can't wait for that!

Main Hallway - looking to the front door

Going Up
This stairway is when you come in the front door.

Upstairs: I'll walk you through the loft then bedrooms starting in the front left bed rm.

Loft
Sits in the front of the house.

also loft showing the stairwell.

First door on left is girl's bedroom. Second is boy's bedroom.

Boy's bedroom,  hall bath, and deep closet. (Left to Right)

Deep closet again, master bedroom suite and laundry room entrance.
You can barely see the door to the guest bed room. (Left to Right)

Girl's bedroom in front of the house. Three beautiful windows.

Boy's bedroom on the side of the house.
Only one window but gives the room more wall space to work with. Plus he is use to a darker room.
We don't want him waking up any earlier than he already does. :)

Hallway Bath
Tub/Shower with light above. Every bath has a ton of light.
This is something new for Ryan Homes.

Double sinks in hall bath.
Yeah no more fighting! Well we can only hope.

Master Bed
It has 3 windows ( the 3rd is on the left long wall)
The room sits along the back of the house with the master bath.

Master Bath
So excited about the tub. Has a nice window too.
I can't wait to see the title next.

Double sinks
Could be wider but I'll take my own sink.

Large wall-in master closet

other side
I said large! I will just have the wire shelving for now. I have plans!!!

Laundry Room - sits along the right side of the house
We made this rm much larger by removing an extra master bdrm closet. As if it needed another one.
Picture is fussy because it was dark. I would have loved to have a window in this room.
However it will have two over head lights. Laundry tub will be in here too.

Basement Stairs
Yes we finished the basement!

Basement:

Basement
It's the length of the house. We can't wait to have this extra space for the family.
TV watching, game playing and kids toy area.
It does have one window (it's the thing glowing). Surprisingly it lets in some good light.

This is the extra space because we did the morning room.
The door is to the unfinished area, which is very large. All the utility items are in here,  except the water.
They built a corner closet in the front for that.

This is looking in the other direction.
See, tons of space for spinning. :)

Basement Bath
To make the basement even better we added the full bath.
For better hosting of Christmas. Can't wait it will be our first.

That completes this trip! Thanks for checking it out.
We are getting so close. Our final walk through is Sept. 17th.
