Final Stage

This week carpet went in! You know what that means...almost moving day!
It was so nice to see the carpet down, it really warms up the place. I was ready to move in last night. It truly feels like home already. We can't wait. We are a little over a week away.

Got some more pictures for you!

Exterior:
Updates: Lighting, unpainted Door and Concrete Driveway / Walkway.
Interior/Downstairs:

Front Door sheds in tons of natural light. We love it!

Glass office doors. True divided 15 light!
Dinning Rm: Oil Rubbed Broze Lighting Package!
Half Bath: They have put up all the towel bars and toilet paper holders. They look so good!
Closer view of bath accessories
Kitchen: Oh yah! The counter tops and appliances are in too. They look even better than we thought!
Granite Counter Tops

Kitchen Island: Not sure I like the cut of the counter tops. I feel like it takes away elbow space. We'll see. I couldn't really do anything about that anyways, you get what you get. Going to do two saddle seat tools here.
Deep sinks! Our current RH doesn't have deep sinks (about 6"). Our current neighbor's are actually replacing theirs with a deep one. Glad we got these. However did you notice the lame facet? So disappointing that this is the standard. We had an option to upgrade but decided we would do this later, possibly a oil rubbed bronze one. :)
Microwave and Stove. They are so cool. The stove is a 5 burner.
Dishwasher: not too impressed with the inside quality, but the outside is pretty.
Pantry Shelving is in! I have more space then I know what to do with.
Not sure I mentioned it before but all the bottom cabinets have pull out drawers. So excited about that feature.

Morning Room - Nothing to update here. Just a beautiful room.
Living Room - Carpet is in!

Upstairs:

Upstairs Hallway - Carpet

Loft - Carpet

Another View
Master Bed Room - Carpet and no bath tub :)

Another view into the bath

In the bath looking out. It's a huge room!
Master Bath - Tub is in with faucet and towel bar. Only thing left in here is the glass shower surround.
Laundry Room - Utility Rack: Can't believe they did the whole wall. It will be good storage.
Guest Bedroom
Basement:

Carpet, a lot of carpet!

Not sure I have shown the unfinished storage area. It's also a good size. We are talking about building shelving on one wall to organize all storage boxes.

Nice big hot water tank

Basement full bath - Everything is done in here.
Next Steps: Put in refrigerator. Put in the glass surround in master bath shower. Paint the front door and other touch ups. Replace the broken windows. Swap out basement door for glass door that we picked out. Grade the lawn. And clean! Next post will be the move. We can't wait. :)

  2. Great pictures! My wife and I are starting the process of building a Naples in NC. We are thinking of the basement as well, how much extra was the finished basement?
